## Check RAS

Check RAS analyzes the following routines:

**1. NT (Manning's Roughness Coefficients and Transition Loss Coefficients)**

2. XS (Cross Sections)

3. Structures

4. Floodways

5. Profiles

The program will highlight the parameters that falls outside the range of normal values. The user can then decide if the value is different due to a reason or if an error has occurred.

All the 5 routine checks generates summary tables. In addition to that:

**1. In the NT check routine, Check RAS:**

* Generates Summary of Statistics Table

* Checks Roughness Coefficients at Cross Sections

* Check Transition Coefficients

* Check Roughness Coefficients at Structures

**2. In the XS check routine, Check RAS checks:**

* Distances between cross sections and junctions

* Ineffective flow options

* Location of cross section and discharges

* Special conditions

* Flow regime

* Boundary conditions

**3. In the Structures check routine, Check RAS checks:**

* Distance between the structure sections

* Type of flow

* Culvert coefficients

* Culvert solution criteria

* Bridge coefficients

* Bridge solution criteria

**4. In the Floodways check routine, Check RAS checks:**

* Encroachment method

* Starting water-surface elevation of floodway profile

* Encroachment stations

* Surcharge values Check floodway discharges

**5. In the Profiles check routine, Check RAS checks:**

* Boundary conditions

* Crossing of water-surface elevations between profiles

* Discharges

* Top widths
